3596Data Center Process PrincipalLocation: Orlando, FL

This position is eligible for a (hybrid) telecommuting schedule / remote.  Tasks for this position must be performed largely on-site, but later assignments may be performed remotely

 

Essential Functions

  • Lead team to maintain established vendor service level agreements for the virtual environment. 
  • Provide direction on the development of process and procedures for the change management of the Range Systems hosting Platform (RSHP)
  • Direct systems change management processes to establish a consistent & well communicated change management policy.
  • Provide leadership for the reporting of key change management metrics.
  • Collaborate with key stake holders to provide a change management process.
  • Apply advanced methods, theories and research techniques and assist in the development, implementation and documentation of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with business practices.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience working in a public/private/hybrid cloud environment. 
  • Advanced knowledge of GCE, Azure, AWS, private & hybrid cloud systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise data center systems, to include Dell vxRail, Data Domain, Avamar, NEXUS, Cisco & Palo Alto.
  • High level experience in complex IT environments which incorporate tradition and non-traditional IT services
  • High level experience supporting 24x7x365 mission critical IT infrastructure
  • High level experience with system security and best practices
  • High level experience administering server environments in a 24x7x365 mission critical environment 
  • High level experience in complex, multivendor networking environments, preferred 
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs and RMF frameworks, preferred 

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • DoD Security+ Certification required
  • Applicable Certifications, preferred: 
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Microsoft Certifications (MCSE/MCSA/MCDBA) 
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA/RHCE)
  • Cisco Certifications (CCNA/CCNP) 
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Google Cloud Engineer
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. 
  • Some travel may be required (less than 10%)
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
  • This position is assigned to Cape Canaveral Space Force Base, FL
  • Hybrid telecommuting available
